Short Term Projects
Short term projects are a great way to help our communities thrive, without any ongoing commitment. If you are interested in sharing your skills, we’d love to showcase them! Short term projects typically take an estimated 5 – 20 hours per project. We have several common projects listed below and we also invite you to submit your own.
Requirements
- 18+ years old, or signature from a legal guardian
- Willingness to complete and submit projects for use by THRIVE Lifeline.
- Willingness to represent THRIVE’s values and the voices of multiply marginalized people.
Projects
- Events Outreach: A 10-hour project that involves sharing educational events with community members.
- Resource Guide Project: A 5-hour project using your lived experience to help to increase THRIVE and Stronger U’s collection of free resource guides.
- Social Media Content-Writing: A 4-hour project writing the content for social media posts for THRIVE’s Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn pages.
- Social Media Design: A 5-hour project, designing and creating social media posts for THRIVE’s Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn pages.
- T-Shirt Design: A 5-hour project, designing a t-shirt that we can sell on our Bonfire store.
- Reclamation Wall: If you are someone who has navigated chronic suicidality and wants to share your narrative, we welcome a variety of art forms!
- Propose your own! If you have another way that you would like to share your skills to help communities thrive, we welcome your creativity!
Submission Process
Projects that are outlined above have helpful descriptions for reference, or you may design and submit your own projects! Our submission form should take about 15 minutes to complete. We will reply to submissions within 48 hours and keep in contact with you!
